ROB TOOK A BREAK
Posted by Simone on 22 Jul 2009
Rob-mania got a day off on Tuesday when Rob Pattinson decided not to come out of the building where filming was taking place for his new movie Remember Me.
The New York City film location has often been a screamfest of adoring female fans and while Rob doesn’t want to alienate them, he took a break from them Tuesday.
Some fans waited six hours at the corner of 41st Street and Park Avenue (with RadarOnline.com) but there was no sign of their fave. That’s because he decided not to come out of the building where scenes were being filmed and had his lunch brought to him instead of walking outside to his trailer.
Co-star Pierce Brosnan strolled around the city streets during breaks and chatted with fans. But no Rob.
Sources on the set say he’s focused on his acting and not dissing his fans, but just trying to get his job done.
Still, Rob, think of all those broken hearts outside!
K-STEWARD READY TO WIN ROBERT BACK

OK Magazines Cover Story:
In what is perhaps one of the summer’s most eagerly anticipated events, Twilight dream couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will finally be reunited at Comic-Con International in San Diego, which starts July 23. And fans of Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling vampire book series aren’t the only ones anxious about the pairing: For weeks, Kristen has sat back while Rob continues to get cozy with his Remember Me co-star Emilie de Ravin.
But now Kristen is determined to win back her leading man.
“Kristen’s got too much going for her to come in second,” a source close to the 19-year-old actress tells OK!. “She really cares for Rob, and if he still feels the same, she wants their relationship to progress. The Comic-Con reunion will be a real test.”
However, R-Pattz’s chemistry with Emilie hasn’t escaped Kristen, either.
“She’s seen photos of them sitting with Emilie’s hands resting tenderly on Rob’s arm, and she sees the way Emilie looks at Rob,” says the source.
Although Kristen was initially going to avoid Comic-Con, her pals, including Runaways and New Moon co-star Dakota Fanning, have convinced her to not only show up, but to fight for him with everything she has.
“Her friends are insisting she look as hot as she can when she and Rob see each other so he will fall head over heels with her all over again,” says the pal. “And Kristen is taking their advice to heart. She asked her Runaways stylist to find her a sexy sundress and a couple of great outfits to wear at the convention. She wants to look so amazing that Rob won’t be able to take his eyes off her.”

FULL USE OF PHYSICAL STRENGTH

Rotten Tomatoes was on the set of "New Moon" during the Volturi underground lair scenes. She had this to say about the cast, Stephenie Meyer, & Melissa Rosenburg's commitment to getting the scenes just right for the fans. Reading about this scene and what Robert's body had to go through makes me anxious to see this scene even more...
In the scene, Edward rushes forward to stop Aro from "testing" vampire powers on Bella, only to suffer the crippling pain of Jane's power. It was a tough scene; the set was eerily quiet, save for the sound of Pattinson's body hitting the ground with every take.
While the first Twilight film used plenty of wire work to achieve the look of vampires running/climbing with effortless ease (an effect criticized for a lack of weightiness and realism), wires here were being used in quite a different way. Stunt coordinator JJ Makaro, who paused for a moment to chat, said that the crew was making deliberate pains to make New Moon's action look more realistic.
"We have wire work, but we're really trying to not do a lot of it," he explained. "We don't want to get into the Hong Kong - floaty stuff that you see all the time, vampires hanging in the air and all of that. It's a tough call, because wires are wires, and the inherent problem with them is exactly that. They get floaty on you. So we're having a heck of a time trying to find the balance that gives us enough to make it supernatural without it being over the top."
Pattinson wore a dark burgundy hooded robe, his chest exposed. And yes, it was impeccably hairless and like alabaster, just as Meyer wrote it. Girls will swoon. Greene stood next to him, wearing a white and gray striped robe and red gloves. Stewart stood between them in black jeans, a short sleeved shirt, and sneakers.
As Pattinson rushed forward, wires attached to his clothing were rigged to jerk him back the moment that Jane's attack -- an invisible psychosomatic blast of pain -- hit him. He grimaced in pain as the camera closed in, neck muscles straining with effort. Finally, he fell to his knees before collapsing on the ground with a loud thud.
Behind the stage, Meyer and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg sat together, nodding in agreement. It looked good on the monitors.
One problem: the wires were tugging Pattinson's robe too much, and would be visible in the film. The crew reset and shot it again. Thud. We began to appreciate Pattinson's commitment.
