ROBERT PATTINSON GETS NYPD SECURITY!
Robert Pattinson has been back in New York for just a matter of days — and he’s already giving the local police force a run for its money!
The British actor — in the Big Apple filming his new movie Remember Me — will have officers from the New York City Police Department taking control of his personal security.
“Enough is enough,” a police source told the Irish Central website. “His security people aren’t up to the task of keeping him safe, and they have no idea how to deal with the crowds this guy attracts.”
The source pointed to a well-publicized incident in which the Twilight star ran from a crowd of admirers and was slightly injured when he was struck by a taxi.
“That’s amateur hour,” the police source said. “We have celebrities a lot bigger than this guy who can come and go in perfect safety because we know how to take the right precautions. We have presidents and kings come and go. This poor kid can’t get in or out of a car without things getting dangerous.”
Pattinson, 23, recently admitted that he sometimes goes out in disguise to avoid being spotted by fans.
“I sometimes try going out in disguise,” he said, “but I’m getting more conspicuous. A hat and sunglasses kind of stands out in the middle of the night! I’m learning to spring, though.”
“You go to cities where people scream at you and you think, ‘This is my job,’” he added. “I don’t know what they’re screaming about!"

Robert Pattinson has a confession — he often goes out in disguise.
The British actor — who became a household name playing vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie franchise — admits he sometimes goes to great lengths not to get recognized.
“I sometimes try going out in disguise,” the British actor told the UK’s Top of The Pops magazine in a new interview, “but I’m getting more conspicuous. A hat and sunglasses kind of stands out in the middle of the night! I’m learning to spring, though.”
“You go to cities where people scream at you and you think, ‘This is my job,’” Rob adds. “I don’t know what they’re screaming about!”
Rob, 23, recently admitted that constantly being followed by fans and photographers is starting to take its toll.
“People ambush me and try and find out what hotel I’m staying at, as well as wanting to touch my hair,” he said.
“Everyone just screams and screams. It still feels surreal.”
“One time, there were these four girls, in Chicago I think, and they had all scratched their necks until they bled.
“And then when they came up to me they had these bleeding scabs. It was gross!”

If your dream is, to be part of Remeber Me: They need cast members. Producers for Robert Pattinson's movie Remember Me are looking for additional cast and have put out the cattle call to hordes of New York area actors.
According to actor411 web site, Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for hipsters, rock-and-roll East Village types, Washington Square Park types (including musicians, dealers, Rastas, artists, etc..), nanny types and real clowns.
Also needed are actors for ECLIPSE. I post the link where you can find all informations about castings and characters.

Robert and his alter ego Edward... what a story to tell. Rob talked about Edward...but not in the way his fans expected.

Rob was spottet with that Lace on LAX and Kristen on the Runnaway Set. Hm... the same Lace? We just can mull over the fact, that this is the fourth thing they have similar:The New York Yankees cap, the black rucksack, the lace and a shirt.

Gossip Girls reports that rumor has it that Kristen and her “New Moon” costar Robert Pattinson enjoyed some intimate alone time while they were in San Diego promoting their upcoming flick.
An inside source revealed that the said-to-be-lovers were “together” the night before Comic-Con kicked off, and they even had a secret entrance to their hotel so that no one would see them.
Rob and Kristen both stayed on the 11th floor of the Hard Rock Hotel, with a hotel source saying, "Who knows their specific sleeping arrangements, but [Rob and Kristen] were on the same hotel floor." Additionally, Pattinson was scheduled to stay in San Diego on Thursday night, but instead went to LA to be with Stewart.

Robert Pattinson has legions of female fans and an impressive list of acting roles but the British actor insists fame hasn’t changed him.
The British actor – who first appeared in ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ but achieved worldwide recognition playing vampire Edward Cullen in ‘Twilight’ – insists his life has stayed the same, despite his legions of female fans.
He said: “I’d like to think that I haven’t changed that much. Within myself, I don’t think I’ve changed. When I’m walking down the street, I look down a lot more often. It seems to keep building, the magnitude of this franchise.
"I pretty much live an almost identical life apart from being recognised. That's not exactly the worst thing in the world."
He jokingly added: "I never do anything normal anyway. And I just get other people to do it now."
Although he is keeping his feet on the ground, Robert – who has been romantically linked to his co-star Kristen Stewart - recently admitted his success has ruined his love life.
He previously said: "I'm always really worried about ruining their lives. Especially with people that aren't famous. It's such a massive change. I'm kind of a paranoid wreck."
Robert, 23, also said he finds his new sex symbol status confusing, because he was never a hit with women when he was growing up.
He revealed: "It's funny, but about a year ago I'd talk to girls and no one would be interested. Then when it was announced I would be in 'Twilight' and the book's author gave me her seal of approval, everyone seemed to change their mind. The attention I get now is just mind bending."
