A few weeks ago, Peter Facinelli told on Twitter, he wants Rob to make a tweet. And it seemes as he has managed it:

How To Be Director talks Rob
Posted by Simone on 18 Sep 2009
Oliver Irving directed a small independent film How To Be that featured Robert Pattinson before he exploded in popularity as Edward Cullen of the Twilight series. Pattinson had been a part of the Harry Potter phenomenon with his role of Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire, however his fan base was nothing compared to what it became with his vampire role. Irving cast Pattinson in between those two blockbusters for the part of Art, a 25 year-old guy stumbling through life confused and without much direction. Irving got very lucky and thanks to Pattinson’s fan base, How To Be is being seen by a wider audience than it probably would’ve been otherwise. With the upcoming DVD release on November 17th - right around the premiere of New Moon - the director is praising Pattinson’s ability to inhabit the character he developed for the film.
How was Robert Pattinson chosen for the role of Art? Did his musical ability play a role in his casting? “We found him after a year and a half’s worth of casting calls. He just seemed the right person for the job. He was interesting to look at – but down to earth enough to play the part. He really seemed to “get it” – he knew people like the characters in the script, and understood the main character ‘ART’. Not having gone through drama school, Rob’s acting and response to direction fit in well with other main cast members who were not trained actors either. Rob actually underplayed his musical ability in the auditions, as he knew the character was meant to be rough around the edges when it comes to musical ability – but it actually was invaluable in the end that he understood the music references and had the technical ability to pull off what we were asking from him.”
I look forward to catching this on DVD and want to see his flick with Pierce Brosnan and Emilie de Ravin Remember Me when it comes out in February of 2010.
Who caught this film on the IFC Channel a couple of months ago? What did you think of the movie? Was Pattinson good? Tell us what you thought of his un-Edward performance.
HOW TO BE A FUNNY CELEB
Posted by Simone on 18 Sep 2009
Dear Twilight cast members who are absolutely no fun (read: Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson),
What’s your problem? Can’t you have a little fun? Sure it’s annoying having people run after you so you can sign a book that you had absolutely no part in writing. And some fans (read: most fans) are absolutely crazy, but it’s your life. And it’s not going away. So why not laugh about it? Otherwise, you’re just going to be running away for forever. And while all that running may produce a kick-ass gluteus maximus, who needs tight buns when you’re just hiding away in a dark hotel room all day long? (if you’re doing something with those tight buns in the dark hotel room, that’s a different story…)
If you want to trade positions, I’m willing. (positions in life- I’m no longer talking about tight buns) I’d be such a fun celebrity.. like Fach- Peter Facinelli. That dude knows how to be a celebrity the right way. He joined twitter, started tweeting back & forth with fans and before you knew it, some dude he knows is in a bikini on the street in Hollywood! Peter’s a good time!

ROBS HAIR SEXIEST MESS
Posted by Simone on 17 Sep 2009
Teen heartthrob Rob Pattinson (of “Twilight” fame) may not have invented the Sexy Mess, but it wouldn’t be one of this year’s favorite hairstyles without him. You’ve heard the phrase “bedroom eyes,” right? This is bedroom hair. Longer layers on sides and top go every-which-way in a stylish tangle that says, “I had more important things to do in the boudoir than comb my hair.” This is a great style for guys with long, thin faces, adding much-needed volume to the silhouette.
Warning: This ’do works best for the artsy, under-30 crowd. Older fellows tend to look more mad scientist than madly desirable. Fortunately, all it takes is a comb to turn the Sexy Mess into the dashing Side Part.
